To start things off i'll be posting blogs about my Love, Music, and Bike life. I don't usually do blogs but my mind is so talkative that it's best to write these things down sometimes to clear my mind.
My name is Jan and i'm soon to be 24 this coming February and at first I was excited about my birthday but now its just going to be another day. I was supposed to go explore LA with this girl named Lupe. Guess it turns out that I was confused and mistaken with the whole "talking" situation, so now it seems i've fallen yet again in the friendzone (as usual). It's been about 2 and a half months now that we've been texting. We don't really hang out except for when i visit her at the bank she works at or when i randomly go just to say whats up. Overall, the experience has been fun and it's nice to have someone to talk to.
I've been going all out lately on my FGFS bike and lately I havent been getting any progression. There are times where you over do it and there are times when you feel like you've been very productive. So far, i've learned how to fakie and either keo out or tire slide out of it. I also learned bunny hopping and slowly getting over the fear or hopping onto and off a curb. It still scares me to try and hop over things that are high. I'm still getting used to lugging around a heavy 32c tires but in due time i'll be able to tuck as high as i used to when I was running 26x700c tires. Until then!
My music has been slowing down big time but only due to the fact that Garage Band has finally gotten boring. It's a good program to use but I need a better workstation and better programs to ensure some good quality sounds. I also would like to upgrade my sound bank with better samples. I may be taking some classes to back my knowledge up since producing isn't something I learned off the books. I have a few tunes up on soundcloud that a lot of people enjoy. I've only been producing for about 4 months and already i'm getting some comments about how my style and sound seem to be years of practice. I thank God for the skill of being able to learn quick.
